In a landmark judgement dated 4th October, 2018, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India not only dealt with an important issue regarding eligibility criteria under Section 29A of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC) for bidding in the resolution plan for a debt-ridden company admitted under section 7 of the IBC, but also dealt with and passed its judgement in respect of many other legal issues relating to the interpretation of many other provisions of the IBC.
